Ranveer Singh's mother, Anju Bhavnani, was all smiles as she thanked the paparazzi for congratulating her ahead of the arrival of her grandchild with Deepika Padukone.
As Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh prepare to welcome their first child in September, the couple has taken a break from public appearances. However, Ranveer’s family recently stepped out for dinner in Mumbai. After the meal, Anju Bhavnani, along with friends, was spotted leaving the restaurant. The paparazzi stationed outside congratulated the soon-to-be-grandmother, to which she responded with a beaming smile and a heartfelt thank you.
A video of Anju’s interaction with the paparazzi has since surfaced on Instagram, prompting an outpouring of love from fans of Deepika and Ranveer. Comments praised Anju’s humble demeanor, with many expressing excitement to see the first glimpses of the couple’s baby.
Deepika Padukone is expected to give birth in September, a date the couple announced in February with a sweet post featuring drawings of baby clothes and accessories, along with the month of September.
On the work front, Deepika was last seen in Nag Ashwin’s sci-fi drama Kalki 2898 AD alongside Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan. She is set to appear next in Rohit Shetty’s cop drama Singham Again, which will also feature Ranveer reprising his role as Simbaa, along with Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, and Arjun Kapoor. Ranveer is also set to star in Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3 alongside Kiara Advani.
