Emirates, the global aviation powerhouse, joined the festive Christmas celebrations with a creative and light-hearted twist. On Tuesday, December 23, the Dubai-based airline shared a holiday-themed video on X, spreading seasonal cheer in its signature larger-than-life style.
The highlight of the video was Emirates’ iconic Airbus A380, transformed into the playful “Sleigh380.” Embracing the holiday spirit, the double-decker aircraft was wrapped in festive visuals inspired by Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, affectionately portrayed as Santa Claus’ trusted helper.
Rudolph, a fictional character created in 1939 by Robert L. May for a children’s booklet, was brought to life through clever design details. The Sleigh380 featured a glowing red nose secured with harness straps, while a beautifully decorated wreath sat atop the aircraft, complete with reindeer antlers peeking out.
